Kahat Kabir, Suno Bhai Saadho!—with these wise words, the spirit of Spandan was brought to life at St. Kabir School’s annual inter – branch poem recitation competition, held on January 18, 2025.  This much-anticipated event brought together students and teachers, all eager to witness an enchanting display of poetic talent.

The competition began with a serene lamp-lighting ceremony and a warm welcome address by our student anchors. The stage was set for the young participants to bring poetry to life through their heartfelt recitation.

Students from various grades showcased their skills, reciting poems from different genres and themes, including motivation, Indian poets, humour, satire, and social issues.

The panel of esteemed judges included Khushal Lalwani, a renowned businessman in data communication; Ms. Ila Gohel, Deputy Director Admin of NIMCJ; Ms. Malti Mehta, a media professional and filmmaker; and Mr. Prasun Kundu, Co-Founder of Hone HT Solutions. Their expert judgment and constructive feedback added great value to the competition.

After careful consideration, the winners were announced. Each participant was applauded for their effort and enthusiasm, the winners received well-deserved accolades and St. Kabir Drive-in B Branch won the overall champions trophy.

The event concluded with reflections by the judges who praised the students for their excellent performances.

Spandan was not just a competition but a celebration of poetic expression, creativity, and cultural appreciation. It showcased the students’ talent and passion, leaving a lasting impression on all  those who attended the event.
