I have always loved reading about mythology. The fascinating stories of gods, heroes,
kingdoms and ancient traditions have always made me curious. I would eagerly discuss
about the characters with my parents and grandparents and ask them to clear my doubts.
Later in life, I discovered the wonderful world of mythological fiction. I learnt that it is
a genre where an author blends the mysteries and beliefs of the past with imagination and
creativity. It brings ancient stories to life while adding new ideas and perspectives. Whenever
I pick up a book on mythological fiction, my curiosity takes over. I become eager to discover
what happens next, and I often find myself turning page after page. I genuinely enjoyed
reading them and wanted to absorb every idea, and twist into my mind. I read many books
like Rama series and Mahadev trilogy, The Geeta for children, 365 stories from Vedas,
Puranas and Upnishads. However, this year, when I got the opportunity to use a platform
where I could write and publish my own book, I decided to turn my passion for mythology
into something meaningful and penned my first book, The Incarnation of Lord Shiv.
Through this book, I have tried to weave together history, mythology, imagination,
and a little bit of my own creativity. I wish to help readers discover the richness of our
culture, traditions, and mythology in an interesting and engaging way. I believe that
mythology should not be seen merely as a collection of stories to read, but as a treasure of
wisdom, values, traditions, and fascinating ideas that can connect us with our cultural roots.
This is just the beginning of my journey as a young writer. I look forward to writing many
more books on mythological fiction and inspiring children as well as readers of different age
groups.
