Students of Grade 1 of St. Kabir High School, Navrangpura visited the Memnagar Fire Station
and University Police Station, gaining valuable insights into the lives and responsibilities of
the community’s real-life heroes.
At the fire station, the young learners discovered how firefighters respond to emergencies,
carry out rescue operations and ensure public safety. They were also introduced to
important fire safety measures and learnt the significance of remaining calm during
emergencies.
The visit to the University Police Station helped students understand the role of police
officers in maintaining law and order, protecting citizens and assisting people in need.
Officials also familiarised the children with important emergency helpline numbers and their
proper use.
Adding a special touch to the day, the students celebrated Rakshabandhan with the
firefighters and police personnel. They tied rakhis, shared sweets and expressed their
gratitude for the dedication and service of these brave protectors.
The educational visit left the children inspired and appreciative of the efforts of police
officials and firefighters. It was a memorable experience that combined learning, safety
awareness and the values of gratitude and respect.
