On the occasion of Vishva Sanskrit Divas, a special assembly was conducted at St. Kabir High
School Navrangpura, to celebrate the richness and significance of Sanskrit, one of the
world’s oldest languages and the foundation of India’s cultural heritage.
The assembly commenced with the recitation of meaningful Sanskrit shlokas, creating a
peaceful and uplifting atmosphere. A speech in Sanskrit was delivered by students,
highlighting the significance of the language and its invaluable contribution to Indian
culture, literature and knowledge systems.
A captivating dance performance added a cultural touch to the celebration and showcased
the beauty of India’s artistic traditions. Students also participated in a Sanskrit awareness
rally, carrying placards and spreading the message of preserving and promoting this ancient
language.
The celebration provided students with an opportunity to appreciate the timeless value of
Sanskrit and understand its relevance in today’s world. The event successfully inspired
young minds to take pride in India’s linguistic and cultural heritage.
