Grade 4 students of St. Kabir High School, Navrangpura enjoyed an enriching
educational field trip to the Vintage Car Museum and Dastan Gaushala on
Friday, 21st August. The visit was planned to provide students with meaningful
learning experiences beyond the classroom.
At the Vintage Car Museum, the students explored a remarkable collection of
more than 100 antique and classic vehicles. They learned about the evolution
of automobiles and discovered how, in earlier times, vehicles were not merely
a means of transportation but also reflected craftsmanship, luxury, wealth and
social status. The visit gave students an opportunity to appreciate the
importance of preserving historical and automotive heritage.
The students then visited Dastan Gaushala, where they learned about the care
and well-being of cows. They also gained an insight into the traditional process
of making ghee, helping them understand the value of traditional practices and
responsible care for animals.
The field trip was a delightful blend of history, heritage, culture and
experiential learning. It encouraged students to observe, explore and learn
beyond the confines of the classroom, making the experience both educational
and memorable.
