One of the most important aspects of being a human being, is being able to be in a relationship. Being able to successfully form and maintain a relationship. And at the heart of that capability is the capacity to put yourself in somebody else’s shoes, to see the world as how they see it. That capacity is empathy.
On 30th December 2025, the teachers and students of St Kabir High School Navrangpura contributed for a noble cause and celebrated New Year in a unique way by donating Adult Diapers, Grocery items to old people of Jeevan Dhara Old Age Home,Narol . 7 students and 4 teachers represented the staff at the Old Age Home. The students and teachers served the food to the grandparents and shared a lovely bond.
It was a small effort to teach Empathy to the students – teaching them to understand and share others’ feelings, “walking in their shoes,” which boosts cooperation, relationships with teachers, engagement and academic success.
