KABIRIANS CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS THE REVIVAL OF THE DIVINE LANGUAGE SANSKRIT

To honour one of the world’s oldest known language, World Sanskrit Day is celebrated every year on the full moon day of the month of Shravan. The day was declared by the Government of India in the year 1969 as a tribute to the work of the renowned Sanskrit Scholar Pānini and his legacy and thereby promoting and spreading awareness about the language.

The students of St.Kabir High School, Navrangpura observed the day by conducting a special assembly. The Cultural Coordinator shared interesting facts about the history and significance of the day. The teachers recited beautiful shlokas in Sanskrit and explained to the students their meaning. The students chanting shlokas from the Bhagvat Gita created a spiritual ambience. Asst. Director Ms. Renu Srivastava shared her thoughts about the sanctity of the language which is also known as Dev Vani or the Language of the Gods!
