St. Kabir High School, Navrangpura strongly believes that “there is more happiness in giving than in receiving”. The school took the initiative to spread love, joy and happiness among the less privileged and the residents of the old age home.
As part of the celebration of Joy of Giving our Principal Rosy Bhatia, Senior Supervisor Praveena Gaur, and other supporting staff visited Manav Sadhna and Old Age Home, on Thursday, January 13th 2022.
The preparation for the event started few weeks prior to the day. Students were motivated to donate essentials for the needy people. Teachers also contributed for the noble cause and blankets were purchased from the money collected.
The students were delighted to know that the essentials donated by them bough smiles to many faces. They learnt that there are a lot of things in the world that can make us smile but nothing beats the invaluable joy of making someone happy.
