The students of St. Kabir Navrangpura, celebrated Janmasthami through digital platform to understand the importance of Lord Krishna’s teachings of life in contemporary times.
Krishna Janamashtami is a festival commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna. Special virtual assemblies were conducted by all the classes to celebrate this occasion.
Students were beautifully dressed up. They were accessorized with colourful accessories, odhnis and peacock crowns to set the Janmashtmi mood. Skits, with diverse ‘Leelas’ of Sri Krishna, was enacted by the students of classes I to V. Sanskrit shloka recital and PowerPoint presentation to emphasize the teachings of Lord Krishna was presented by the students of senior wing to celebrate the festival of Janmashtami.
The students expressed their creativity through the medium of various activities like singing songs, dancing on garba tunes, decorating the divine Krishna cradle, recitals on life and teachings of Lord Krishna
Colourful dance performance by primary students who were dressed up as Krishna and gopikas added to the delight.
The teachers instilled value of self worth and introspection in the students as they wished them happy Janmashtami.
