2nd October every year is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti. To revere this day ST.Kabir School, Navrangpura held a special virtual assembly to celebrate the day to pay homage to the Father of the Nation.
Assembly started with the chanting of bhajan ‘Raghupati Raghav’ which was Mahatma Gandhi’s favourite song. Students delivered speeches on the life and principles of Mahatma Gandhi which was carried forward by wonderful dances and songs by the students. A quiz on the life of Mahatma Gandhi was also held to make students more familiar about our loving leader. Young Kabirians dressed up as Gandhi, shared his message of Non-Violence and Ahimsa. The teachers shared the information about the philosophy of Gandhiji’s life and his great work for India through PowerPoint presentations and videos during virtual sessions.
All our students were imbued with Gandhian values and thoughts and vowed to become responsible citizens of India and the world.
