An Investiture ceremony delegates responsibility and gives authority to children. It teaches them lifelong skills of being powerful and humble. On 22nd August, 2022, the momentous occasion of entrusting responsibility to the newly appointed student council was organized in its grandeur way. The zeal and enthusiasm of students knew no bounds.
The auspicious occasion was commenced by lightening of lamp by respected Heads and Supervisors. The fabulous dance performed on ‘Ganesh Stuti’ greeted the guests and triggered positivity in the premises. Then came the moment when our newly elected council marched in the Assembly hall to take over their duties and responsibilities for the current year (2022-2023). They were officially introduced and conferred with badges. They stood there with utmost pride and dignity as a tribute to the trust, students have conferred on them. The new council took the pledge to hold the school motto in high esteem and live up to the expectations of their mates. The old student council marched in and passed over the school and house flags to the newly elected heads and captains. It was a proud moment for all as the new council is all set to carry the legacy further. Our Assistant Director Madam congratulated them and shared her inspirational talks on unity, discipline, morality and honesty in leadership. The school band managing the entire event, playing instruments like drums, Side drums, Cymbal, Lezim etc. was commendable. .
Continuing the school tradition, old student council was commended with good work certificates by our respected parents for their extraordinary role in the previous year (2021-2022). The event concluded with an energetic song performance “Aasman ke Paar” and a beautiful modern dance on “Rise Up”.
