“Poetry is the core of literature.” To spread the fragrance of poetry among the children, St. Kabir School had organized an Inter Branch English Recitation Competition on 5th January 2023 for the students of Std. 1 to 5.
Different classes were given different themes like My Valuable Relationships, My Environment, My Confusions, My Valuable Lessons and My Favourite Poet. The students enthusiastically participated in the competition as they got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence.
The competition inspired the young poets to come forward and recite on stage.
The students came up with wonderful poems. They enjoyed the perfection of expression, thoughts, emotions, rhythm and music of words.
Students were judged on the parameters like confidence, voice modulation, memorization and overall presentation.
The young poets enthralled the audience with their articulation and memory skills while reciting poems. It was a splendid opportunity for them to gain confidence through stage exposure. Everyone was delighted after seeing their pleasing performances.
The judges appreciated and applauded the performances of all the participants as they had a tough time deciding the winners. It was indeed memorable!!
