“Start today to save tomorrow. There should be no tomorrow in taking steps to save the earth” Keeping this in mind, the students of St. Kabir School, Navrangpura celebrated World Environment Day to spread awareness about environmental problems.
Students participated in various class activities such as poster making, letter writing, poem recitation and writing articles on “Best out of Waste”. Debates and group discussions were conducted on topics related to this year’s theme #BeatPlasticPollution.’ Ecosystem Restoration’. It is a reminder that people’s actions on plastic pollution matters as it is slowly destroying our eco system.
A special assembly was organized to remind students that it is our responsibility to protect our environment. Senior students planted plants in school premises with the motto, ‘Save Environment’.
Students were also asked to plant a plant at home, take care of it and watch it grow. Such initiatives motivates young minds to preserve our environment and keep it safe from pollution so that we can have a healthy life!
