I hear, but I disregard. I perceive and recall. I do and I am aware of this.
Students retain and comprehend concepts learned in the classroom better when they are “done,” or put into practise. Educational tours can aid children in growing academically and personally. Instilling and advancing knowledge has always been a priority at St. Kabir School..
On June 24, 2023, St. Kabir School in Navrangpura planned a one-day trip to Science City’s Robotics Centre. The visit’s goal is to encourage and improve students’ comprehension of the field of artificial intelligence research and to inspire creativity and a spirit of scientific inquiry in them. The visit to Science City was a superb learning opportunity that made robotics science approachable and fascinating.
The facility gave visitors a place to learn more about the rapidly developing subject of robotics. We were in awe at the sight of the enormous Transformer robot model right at the entryway. Visitors to the Gallery will be met by a greeting robot, a humanoid with social abilities, in what is intended to be a first-of-its-kind human-robot interaction. The students were guided by an instructor to various floors. Each floor of the museum is devoted to showcasing the usefulness and applications of robots in various industries, such as healthcare, agriculture, space exploration, defence, and general usage. The robotic gallery is undoubtedly a one-stop robotics shop. The Gujarati students’ exhibition centre of various robots they had created and built was a lot of fun. They were the role models that Gujarat’s Chief Minister honoured. The “Robotics DJ Gallery” was really interesting. The students enjoyed seeing the robot dancers perform. The Student Activity Center’s robotics workshops were also explained to the students. It is a location to slake one’s hunger for knowledge while learning and having fun at the same time.
