The Independence Day celebration at St. Kabir High school Navrangpura was marked with
great enthusiasm, patriotism and pride. The programme commenced with the flag hoisting
ceremony, as the National Flag soared high, symbolising the freedom, unity and spirit of our
nation. The ceremony was followed by the National Anthem, which filled the atmosphere
with a deep sense of respect and patriotism.
The Student Scouts presented a disciplined and impressive march past, showcasing their
confidence, coordination and dedication. Their synchronised movements reflected the
values of discipline, teamwork and responsibility.
The Principal addressed the gathering and shared an inspiring message, reminding students
of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and encouraging them to become responsible
citizens who contribute positively to the progress of the nation. Students then presented
patriotic speeches, expressing their thoughts on freedom, India’s achievements and their
hopes for the country’s future.
A special highlight of the celebration was the role play of legendary freedom fighters,
including their inspiring contributions to India’s struggle for independence. Through their
performances, students brought history to life and paid tribute to the courage and sacrifices
of the nation’s heroes.
The students also presented a thought-provoking mime depicting the progress of our
nation, highlighting India’s remarkable journey from the past to the present and its
aspirations for a brighter future. This was followed by soulful patriotic songs and energetic
dance performances, which filled the campus with a strong sense of national pride.
The spirit of Independence Day extended into the classrooms through engaging art and craft
activities. Students creatively expressed their love for the country through tricolour-themed
artwork, poster and craft activities. They also participated in creative writing activities,
putting their thoughts and feelings about India into words through poems, essays and
imaginative compositions.
The celebration was a beautiful blend of patriotism, creativity, learning and expression. It
reminded every student that the true essence of independence lies not only in celebrating
our freedom but also in respecting our nation, embracing our responsibilities and working
together towards a stronger and better India.
