“Freedom in the mind, Strength in the words, Pureness in our blood, Pride in our souls, Zeal in our hearts, let’s salute our India on Republic Day”.
The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with pride and reverence at St. Kabir School, Navrangpura. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the children of Class I to IX danced to the tunes of patriotism, enacted skits, and roleplays, sang patriotic song, poem recitation and speeches. The houses who won various cultural, literary and sports competitions held during the year were felicitated.
The Asst. Director Madam in her address highlighted the significance of the day, and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands. Hence they need to study well now and inculcate good values in life, which will help them to be good citizens of the country.
The program ended with the National Anthem and the Cultural Coordinator extending her gratitude to all the esteemed dignitaries in the event and to the students who had performed beautifully.
