With an aim to raise awareness about Hindi language, promote its use, and celebrate the contributions of scholars and writers in this language, World Hindi Day is celebrated annually on 10th January.
At St.Kabir High School Navrangpura, this day was observed to inculcate love for Hindi language and to understand the significance of celebrating World Hindi Day. We were honoured to have Smt. Shanti Sharma, an accomplished educator and a Hindi laureate who refers herself to as “Hindi Bhasha ki Sevika” with us to celebrate this day.
Smt. Shanti Sharma delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the significance of preserving and promoting the Hindi language. She shared insights into the rich literary history of Hindi and encouraged students to embrace their linguistic roots while fostering a love for literature.
Students showcased their verbal and artistic talents through a series of cultural performances. Poetry recitations, skits, speech and poster making were organized, reflecting the diversity and beauty of the Hindi language.
The celebration of World Hindi Day was not only an educational experience but also a source of inspiration for our students. It reinforced the cultural richness of the Hindi language and ignited a renewed passion for linguistic and literary pursuits among the students. The event served as a reminder of the profound impact language has on our identity and heritage.
