Chinmaya Mission, Ahmedabad had organized Gita Chanting Competition in various schools of Ahmedabad. Preliminary rounds were held in the school.
St. Kabir School Drive In A Block selected 60 participants from various grades. In the preliminary rounds held, 10 students were selected by the volunteers of Chinmaya Mission, Ahmedabad. The final round was held on 21st December ,2022 at Paramdham, Opp. ISRO , Satellite.
In the modern times when people are more confused and misdirected, the Gita becomes all the more relevant for the individual as well as the society at large in bringing back the stability and happiness in life.
Students of St. Kabir School Drive In A Block showcased their talents in various categories by reciting the shlokas of Chapter 3 diligently. In the Chapter Three, Lord Krishna discusses Karma-yoga, the knowledge of how every action creates an opposite and equal reaction.
Shivansh Patel from Sr.Kg (Category A) mesmerized the judges by his performance and won the first prize .Kashvi Sudeep Patel from Std.1(Category A) bagged the second prize.
