‘‘Vasudev Kutumbakam” – phrase termed by all is not just a saying but a feeling of considering whole world as our family. Students at St. Kabir live by this thought and believe in spreading happiness and brotherhood amongst everyone they come across. With one such feeling students of St. Kabir, Navrangpura decided to celebrate their Rakshabandhan this year in a unique way.
On account of rakshabandhan a group of girls from STD. 7th & 8th along with supervisor & teachers went to police station near by school to appreciate the entire police department who works throughout the year for our safety may it be day, night or any festival. They went to Navrangpura police station to tie rakhis. Considering their efforts to maintain city safety and regulate rules, our students gave a token of appreciation to each of them and thanked them personally for their role and work towards the society. Department of police insisted students to accept a gift from their side but they only asked for their blessings and smile. A simple gesture by students gave a day full of smiles and memories to many.
It was indeed a day filled with happiness, sharing & learning for the students!
