As a part of the Eco Club – Waste Disposal Team initiative, an awareness programme was conducted to encourage students to collect used newspapers, old books, notebooks, and waste paper for recycling.

Eco Club student volunteers visited classrooms and explained the importance of paper recycling in conserving natural resources and reducing waste. Separate collection boxes were placed in both school buildings to collect recyclable paper materials. Students enthusiastically contributed old newspapers and books, which were collected for recycling.

The activity helped students understand the importance of the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle – and promoted responsible waste management practices. The programme strengthened the school’s commitment towards environmental conservation and sustainability.
