A group of 45 students and 52 parents from std 4 of St. Kabir High School Navrangpura, visited Oxygen Park in Ahmedabad today for an educational and recreational outing. The visit aimed to provide students with a hands-on learning experience about the environment while offering parents an opportunity to engage in wellness activities.

During the tour, students explored various plant species and learned about their significant role in enhancing air quality and supporting biodiversity. They engaged in interactive discussions with instructors, gaining insights into the benefits of green spaces in urban areas. The visit helped them understand the importance of conservation and how plants contribute to a healthier ecosystem.

After the educational session, the students enjoyed playing games in the park’s playground and open spaces, fostering teamwork and outdoor engagement. Meanwhile, parents took part in yoga sessions, utilizing the peaceful atmosphere of the park to relax. Many also made uses of the walking tracks for light exercise, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.

The visit proved to be both fun and informative, successfully blending education with recreation. It not only deepened environmental awareness among the students but also encouraged physical activity and relaxation for the parents, making it a fulfilling experience for all.
