St.Kabir High School , Navrangpura organized a Nukkad Natak in-house competition, wherein the
four different houses of the school contested. All the four houses had chosen themes on social
issues and the awareness, wherein the Topaz house with their theme, “SAY NO TO TOBACCO “and
the Emerald house with the theme, “Beware of Cyber Crimes”, emerged victorious, bagging the
first prize. The objective of the Nukkad Natak was to create awareness about the harmful effects
of the tobacco consumption and to encourage people to quit tobacco. All the 12 Participants from
grades 6 th to 9 th , namely Hitharth shah, Prahi Adani, Maan Patel, Samarth Bichu, Vanshika Patel ,
Dwiti shah, Rudra Trivedi, Yuvaraj Patel, Manvik Harwani, Vardhan Bhatt, Vihansh Adani and
Hitansh Shah were highly appreciated by the judges for their high energy and creativity and well
received by the audience too. The scripting and the direction was done by the Teacher Kavita
Sharma, keeping in mind a commitment to creative expression and promoting social awareness in
the mass. Further, to promote and spread the campaign, the school encouraged the team to
perform at various public places in Ahmedabad.
