Hindi Literature is one of the greatest aspects of the Indian Heritage. And Hindi Poetry is one of its kinds which highlights the Indian values and culture. Over the past many years, St Kabir School has been conducting Interclass Poem Recitation Competition at branch level. To celebrate this richness together with the students and to take it a level ahead, this year St Kabir School had organized “SPANDAN” an Online Inter-branch Hindi Poem Recitation Competition on 16th January, 2021 for students of Class 6 to 9.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Winners of Inter class competition were groomed for various aspects of recitation like introduction, diction, voice modulation and dramatic appropriateness so that they would be thoroughly ready for the stiff competition at the Branch level. All the contestants were excited with the prospect of being able to present to eminent personalities from the world of literature like Mr Unmesh Dixit, Mr Vijay Thaker, Mr Harsh Shodhan and Mr Ankit Gor. Creative advisor of the School, Ms Preeti Bhatt had given various interesting themes to the students like Prernaadayak / Paryavaran pe aadharit, Veer Ras/ Desh Bhakti pe aadharit, Hasya Ras / Vyang pe aadharit, Samakaleen/ Saamaajik muddon pe aadhaarit.

The judges were spellbound while viewing the talented Kabirians recite the poems of renowned as well as contemporary poets to their best as the four branches battled it out for the title of ‘WINNER BRANCH’.  

Std6 winner was Jency Patel from Navrangpura

Std7 winner was Ansh Patel from Naranpura

Std8 winner was Sargam Vaidya from Drive In New

Std9 winner was Aashwi Sadaria from Naranpura  

 

Overall winner was Navrangpura branch  

Director Madam appreciated all the contestants for their efforts and motivated them to be on the path of progress. It is imperative to mention that the entire event was streamed live on YouTube channel “ST KABIR SCHOOL, AHMEDABAD MEGA EVENTS”. The response of parents and well wishers was overwhelming. The vibrations of this literary event will reverberate for a long time to come.
