To mark the significance of Constitution Day, St. Kabir High School Navrangpura proudly organized a Youth Parliament that provided students with a platform to voice their opinions, understand democratic values and engage in impactful discussions, just like real lawmakers of the nation.
The event began with students reading out the Preamble of the Constitution, reaffirming the ideals of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity that guide our nation. This solemn moment reminded everyone of the fundamental values that unite India.
Students stepped into the roles of parliamentarians and confidently presented important national agendas, demonstrating awareness of current issues and a deep sense of responsibility towards society. The session included structured debates, logical arguments, and thoughtful proposals that reflected critical thinking and informed participation.
This initiative not only helped students understand the functioning of the Indian Parliament but also encouraged skills such as leadership, collaboration, public speaking and respectful dialogue. It inspired them to think beyond textbooks and actively take interest in the future of their country.
Celebrating Constitution Day through such an event reinforced the importance of democratic participation and nurtured young citizens who are ready to shape a brighter tomorrow. The Youth Parliament concluded with a strong message — every voice matters in a democracy and our young Kabirians are ready to make theirs heard.
