In July, our group of friends and family set off on a fantastic 5-day road trip to the mesmerizing Bhandardara, Maharashtra. It turned out to be the perfect monsoon getaway!

Bhandardara is a charming village near Igatpuri, nestled in the Western Ghats of India. Our journey began in Ahmedabad, took us through Surat, and then to Saputara where we spent a night. The next day, we arrived at Bhandardara and checked into a hostel located in a stunning spot. We were thrilled to play cricket in the clouds, and the hostel experience was so unique. We had to handle things on our own, which made it even more exciting!

On the way, we indulged in delicious local snacks like Misal pav and vada pav—Maharashtra’s famous treats. They were absolutely yummy!

The next adventure was a trek to Sandandari, where we saw a reverse waterfall. The view was spectacular, especially as clouds rolled in around us, making the experience even more magical.

We also visited the Saptashrungi Mata Temple, and the weather was perfect that day. We took a ropeway to the temple, which was like riding a train in the sky! It was my first time on such a ropeway, and the scenery was breathtaking.

Finally, we headed back to Ahmedabad, filled with wonderful memories and stories to share. Overall, it was an unforgettable trip, and I enjoyed every moment!
