‘Raksha Bandhan’ or ‘Rakhi’ is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. To commemorate this festival, St.Kabir High School Navrangpura organized a Rakhi Making and Selling Activity for the students and their parents of the Junior Wing. Students and parents teamed up and made beautiful Rakhis using different articles like decorative threads, ribbon, mirrors, pearls, flowers and even super hero figurines! Their artisanship was quite fascinating and children thoroughly enjoyed this activity that tickled their creative side. The amount received from the sale was donated, thus inculcating the values of empathy and charity amongst our students.
