Every day our school starts with a belief “an affirmation creates a pleasant atmosphere for learning and life—rather than just a bell”. By implementing the daily affirmation practice, we hope to foster in each child self-assurance, concentration, and emotional health.
These succinct yet impactful statements act as pillars for an attentive and inspired school day. In order to foster an environment of self-awareness and personal development, students not only say affirmations but actively consider their significance.
This straightforward practice serves as a gentle reminder that education is about more than just imparting knowledge; it’s also about fostering the inner voice that gives each student strength.
NO SUGAR PLEDGE
As part of our ongoing commitment to student well-being, our school has implemented a “Say No to Sugar” initiative, encouraging kids to bring nutritious, sugar-free snacks for recess. Bringing sugary things to a birthday celebration is also prohibited for children.
This mindful approach is about more than simply what goes into lunchboxes; it is about nurturing their brains and bodies. We encourage longer periods of sustained energy, better concentration, and healthier habits by reducing sugary foods and drinks. This way our pupils are learning that eating smart is a sort of self-care. With regular reinforcement, this technique teaches kids that health is happiness and prevention is power.
