Sometimes, the smallest gestures make the biggest difference. A little kindness can bring comfort, joy and hope to those who need it most.

On October 30, St. Kabir School organised a donation drive across eight municipal schools in Kheda — Mota Dedarda, Nana Dedarda, Damri, Vavdi, Shetra, Vantdi, Govindpura and Gandhipura.

Having adopted these eight schools, St. Kabir School extends support throughout the year by addressing their needs and providing assistance wherever possible. Every Diwali, this commitment takes a special form as the school’s management, teachers, students and parents come together to share the joy of the festive season through generous contributions and donations.

Beyond the donations, the visit was a deeply moving experience. Seeing the children’s smiles was a reminder to pause, count our blessings and appreciate how even a small act of kindness can make a difference.

The initiative reflects St. Kabir School’s belief that education extends beyond classrooms and textbooks. It is also about nurturing compassion, sharing what we have and teaching children the importance of giving back to society.

“Because the greatest lessons are sometimes learnt not from books, but through acts of kindness.”
