Har Ghar Tiranga is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 79th Year of India’s Independence. Our relationship with the flag has always been more formal and institutional than personal. Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation in the 79th year of Independence thus become symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation building.

We at St. Kabir High School, Navrangpura, conducted a series of activities to foster patriotism among students. These included essay writing on national themes, artwork of the tricolour flag and other national symbols and the creation of hand-drawn posters reflecting the significance of Independence Day. The posters were displayed on school boards, adding a touch of patriotism to the learning environment.

In addition to the in-class activities, a rally was organised in which students enthusiastically marched with the national flag, chanting patriotic slogans and spreading the message of unity and national pride. The rally served as a reminder of the importance of honouring the nation’s heritage and celebrating its independence.
