On 8th August, the students of Grade 2 visited the local Police Station and Fire Station as part of an awareness and gratitude activity. The main objective of the visit was to help children understand the roles, responsibilities and importance of police officers and firefighters in maintaining safety and protecting lives.
At the Police Station, students interacted with the officers, observed their work environment and learned about how law and order are maintained. At the Fire Station, they were introduced to firefighting equipment, rescue vehicles and safety measures during emergencies.
To express their appreciation, the children celebrated Rakshabandhan with both the police officers and firefighters by tying rakhis and sharing sweets. This meaningful gesture strengthened the bond of respect and care between the students and these real-life heroes.
The visit proved to be both educational and heartwarming, leaving the children inspired and more aware of the value of discipline, bravery and service to the community.
